How To Order
We've worked hard to ensure that shopping on our site is as quick and painless as possible. Here are some tips that you might find useful...

Know what you're looking for?
If you know what title(s) you're looking to purchase, you'll find it much easier to use the Search option located at the top of the site. Simply enter one or more words that make up the product title, and hit the search button. Remember though, words that are less than 3 characters will be ignored by our search engine.

Just Browsing?
Just want to see what's available, what's new or what's coming soon for your particular system? Simply select your system from the navigation menu, or by clicking it's relevant icon at the top of the page. You'll be presented with a page where the content is tailored to your specific system, be it hardware, software or accessories. A sub menu for each section will also appear on the navigation menu, as well as a few other useful features. You'll also notice on the search menu that any searches you perform will now only be carried out on items that match your chosen system.

Add items to my shopping basket
Should you wish to order something, you'll first have to put it into your virtual shopping basket. You can do so by clicking the Add To Basket button. You can manage the contents of your shopping basket via the link at the top right of the screen.

Remove items from my shopping basket
To remove an item from your shopping basket, simply click the Remove Item button below the item you wish to remove.

Some products don't have an "Add to Basket" button. Why?
You may have noticed it is not possible to add certain items to your shopping basket. These items will either have an unconfirmed price, or not yet have been released from the publisher/manufacturer, and are therefore not available to order from our website.

Going through the checkout
When you've got all the items you wish to purchase in your shopping basket, click the 'Checkout' link on your shopping basket page. Here it explains how all online purchases through our site are processed by PayPal, a third party online credit card merchant (If you've ever used eBay you'll will be familiar with PayPal). You may already have a PayPal account which already contains your address and credit card/bank details. If you don't, there's no need to worry! You don't need a PayPal account to shop with us, it just speeds up the process a little. If you don't, PayPal will just ask for your address, shipping address (if different) and your payment card details. Once you've provided PayPal with all the necessary information, they will debit the money to us, and email you a receipt. We advise you print this for your records, or at least save it somewhere safe. We will not collect the payment until we dispatch it to you, so you have this time (usually 24hrs, sometimes sooner) to cancel the order. After we have collected payment and dispatched the item(s), you will have to refer to our returns procedure to cancel your order and return the items. Hide ^
Delivery Information
We aim to dispatch every item within 48 hours, providing the order is received by us before 2pm during working hours. In rare cases where the item ordered is out of stock either at our shop or with our suppliers, we will endeavour to do all we can to obtain and dispatch the item as soon as possible. We will contact you to inform you of any difficulties we face in the processing of your order.

Orders for custom built items (such as PC equipment) will take longer to dispatch. The estimated build/delivery time should be listed on applicable products, and is usually around 5 days, although it is often less. We will contact you on receipt of such orders to keep you up to date with the progress of such orders. Hide ^
Returns Information
To return an item, please follow the following steps...

  1. Call us on 01686 622322/622352, with your PayPal order receipt at hand. We will need your name, address and transaction ID, all of which are listed on the receipt.
  2. We will issue you with an RMA Number. You will need to note this down.
  3. Return the item to us at the address below. Please include your RMA number on the envelope, and include a note inside the envelope explaining the fault with the product.

    If you've got a printer, you can use our returning an item form. Simply print it out, fill it in, and place it in the package when you return it.

    We suggest that goods worth under £25 should be sent recorded delivery, goods worth over £25 we recommend you send insured delivery, both of these options mean that the goods will be insured if lost and also a signature is required for proof of delivery, just for your peace of mind. Providing your returned items meets the terms outlined below, we will refund you the cost of postage for returning your item.

When returning non software items, unless they are physically damaged, we suggest that the item's manufacturer be contacted first. All hardware/accessory items will come with a manufacturers warranty (usually 1 year, sometimes more) which will cover repair or replacement for items where the electrical components fail to work. We will of course advise you on the best course of action when you contact us.

Returning Items Terms and Conditions

General
All items must be returned within 7 days of obtaining your RMA number. The must be suitably packaged to ensure they reach us in the condition they arrived. Any goods returned are tested and if a fault is found a like product will be sent within 14 days. If however no fault is found the goods will be returned to the customer at their expense.

Returning Software
We will only accept software for return if, it is faulty and has not been misused, it should therefore be returned in mint condition as supplied. Once checked a replacement will be issued in its place this may take upto 14 days. It is important that you choose the correct Software from ego247, as refunds can not be given due to error. Hide ^

All personal information requested for purchasing items from our site is done via the PayPal website. At no time do we have access to your payment card details. Your name, address and other such personal information requested by PayPal is emailed to us in order to complete and dispatch your order. We do not pass on this information to anyone.

Cookies
Cookies must be enabled to use our site as it was intended. Your Shopping Basket, Recently Viewed Items and access to our Competitions requires that cookies are enabled.
